Bollen & Fichtner

Gertjan Bollen was known as Metasphere in a previous life. Two tracks on the Industrial Shock label were released under this pseudonym and he performed in clubs like Studio 80 (Amsterdam) and Now&Wow (Rotterdam), having the barely legal age of 18.

When he got older and wiser, his musical taste changed and in the same period he met - the a little bit less old and wise - Pascal Fichtner. This musical genius with Berlin roots had been producing quality progressive trance (check out Pascal Fichtner - Papillon EP), until he discovered the magical world of underground house and techno.

In the beginning of 2011 they did their first release together: "Osama's Groove" on Forteana Records, with worldwide support from artists as Robert Owens, John Selway, Sören Aalberg, Cashmere, Affie Yusuf etc.
A few months later they were asked to do a remix for Cihan Mareno on the Russian Royal Tracks label: "Circus In Town EP".

Their biggest breakthrough so far occurred in September 2011 when house legend Hernan Cattaneo played a currently unreleased track of them at Delta FM in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In May 2012 they did a release on Girafe Sauvage, called Iguana. It's a grooving atmospheric tech-house track created especially for the summer festivals. Label boss Sören Aalberg created the techno-driven remix.
